Six-time Black Ferns representative Tapsell will make the transition from rugby union to league after signing with the Sharks until the end of 2025. A tough forward renowned for her aggressive defence and ball-running, she is a Māori woman from the Ngāti Whakauae and Te Arawa iwi.
