A zippy fullback who plays well above his weight, Ison has risen rapidly through the grades. He began season 2024 playing Jersey Flegg before setting the NSW Cup alight with his speed and vision. Aged 19, the highly rated Penrith junior earned his NRL debut against the Cowboys.
