Our Vision and Impact
Sharks Have Heart sparking social change
The Cronulla Sharks uphold our reputation as the 'Community Club' by utilising the profile of our players and the game to create social impact and bring about meaningful change. We do this through our charitable foundation Sharks Have Heart.
The team is led by Head of Community and Government Relations, Vinh Tran. Supported by Community Engagement Manager, Luke Koutrodimos, Equal Access Program Lead and NRLW star, Emma Tonegato and Indigenous Program Co-ordinator and NRLW star, Jada Taylor.
Our vision is to always have a community-first approach whereby our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure the Cronulla Sharks are more than just a football club. We are an inclusive club that delivers real change through evidence-based programs that make a lasting impact to all who we interact with.
Our signature programs, One Heart, Deadly Choices and Mega Jaws, focus on target groups including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people living with disability, young people, and our ageing population.
Make a tax deductible donation ($2+) to directly support Sharks Have Heart via the Australian Sports Foundation.
Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
