Play Junior League /

The Cronulla Sharks work very closely with the Cronulla Sutherland Junior League in promoting rugby league as a healthy sporting option for youth in the local area. CLICK HERE to find your local club and range of products offered in the Cronulla-Sutherland District JRL. 

Through development and junior representative programs the Sharks also attempt to provide quality coaching and playing opportunities in offering elite players a pathway to the high levels of the game.

With over 4000 active participants throughout the 13 clubs in the Sutherland Shire, the Sharks are committed to supporting the junior competitions and their players, while acknowledging and assisting the efforts of the many volunteers who commit time to developing and growing the sport of Rugby League.

League Touch and League Tag are modified versions of rugby league that are offered in the CSDJRLF. It is rugby league - without the tackle!

REWARDS
All players (Under 16), volunteers, coaches and officials have the opportunity to redeem FREE tickets to the NRL Telstra Premiership. Throughout the season Under 6s to 8s will also be given the chance to play footy on PointsBet Stadium.

Shire Touch Football

Touch football is available all year round for seniors and juniors at Taren Point Touch Association. 

Winter Competition:

•   May - September
•   Monday nights (men's & mixed divisions)
•   Wednesday nights (Ladies, men's over 30s & mixed divisions)
•   Junior competition is played using Sharks League Touch rules on Sundays with the Junior Rugby League. 

Summer Competition:

•   October - March
•   Tuesday nights (men's & mixed divisions)
•   Wednesday nights (ladies, men's over 30s & mixed divisions)
•   Junior competition is played on Wednesdays from September-December.

Summer League Touch is available for boys, girls and seniors.
