The Sharks will be bolstered by returning forwards Teig Wilton and Siosifa Talakai in Saturday afternoon's Battle of the Beaches against the Sea Eagles at Optus Stadium in Perth.

Wilton is named to start in the second row after missing last week's loss to the Raiders with illness. Billy Burns has in turn reverted to the extended bench.

Talakai, who sat out the Round 5 clash due to concussion protocols, has reclaimed his place on the interchange at the expense of Tuku Hau Tapuha (18th man).

Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon has otherwise opted to retain the same side that went within a whisker of defeating Canberra on the road.

With Kayal Iro (hamstring) still sidelined, Mawene Hiroti will remain at left centre after making a try-scoring comeback to the NRL last week.

Kick-off is at 1pm Perth time (3pm AEST), with live coverage on Foxtel and Kayo.
