For a second straight year, the Cronulla Sharks are thrilled to announce a new all-time club record with 16,563 loyal Members and counting already on board for 2025.

Having surpassed 16,000 Members for the first time last season, the Sharks have raised the bar again in an indication of the club's continued growth as one of Australia's leading sports organisations.

With the invaluable support of Quest Apartment Hotels, the club's official Membership partner, the Sharks now have the 17,000-Member milestone firmly in sight.

A sold-out NRL home opener against the Rabbitohs in Round 3 and another strong turnout for last Saturday's clash with the Bulldogs despite inclement weather were testament to the power and passion of Sharks Members.

Sharks Group CEO Dino Mezzatesta thanked each and every Member around the country and overseas for their unrivalled commitment.

"Our Members are integral to our success on and off the field, and we're forever grateful to have such a loyal and dedicated core fanbase," Mezzatesta said.

"Whether you're a long-time Member or new to the black, white and blue family, we sincerely appreciate everything you bring to our great club.

"There have been challenges, but to break the Membership record two years in a row shows we're on an exciting trajectory.

"A huge thank you to Quest Apartment Hotels – it's no coincidence we've reached new heights with you as our official Membership partner."

Sharks NRL coach Craig Fitzgibbon said the support from Members, be it at home or away games, exclusive functions or on social media, doesn't go unnoticed.

"Every time the team runs onto the field, they're determined to perform well for all our Members who give so much to us," Fitzgibbon said.

"The Sharks are a special club and you, our Members, are the backbone of it all. We strive to make you proud with our output on and off the field."

NRL captain Cameron McInnes echoed his coach's sentiments.

"There's no doubt we have the best Members in the competition," McInnes said.

"We owe it to them to leave nothing in the tank every time we represent the Sharks. Thank you to all our amazing Members – we play for you."

NRLW skipper Tiana Penitani added: "In two seasons, the support our elite women have received from Members has been incredible.

"They've embraced us from the get-go and been a key part of our success. We're aiming to repay the faith again when we kick off in 2025."

David Mansfield, Managing Director The Ascott Limited, Australasia, said: "At Quest Apartment Hotels, we are proud to be the Membership partner of the Cronulla Sharks club and to celebrate this incredible milestone – the highest number of Sharks Members ever.

"This is a significant moment that is a testament to the strength and unity of the Sharks community that is growing and galvanising and we are thrilled to be part of it. We welcome the 16,563rd person and all Sharks Members at our 120 properties nationwide, offering them a home away from home whether it's travelling to support the Sharks, for corporate stays or family getaways."
