As part of an epic triple-header at Sharks Stadium on Saturday, Cronulla's Jersey Flegg team and the Newtown Jets will do battle with the Rabbitohs after impressive victories last weekend.
Having rebounded from a heavy loss against the Panthers, the under-21 Jersey Flegg Sharks are coming off an emphatic 38-22 win over the Knights. They'll now meet a South Sydney side yet to open their account in 2025.
Sharing the stage at Henson Park in Round 2, the Jets maintained a flawless start to their Knock-On Effect NSW Cup premiership defence with a 23-22 triumph decided by a clutch Niwhai Puru field goal in the 79th minute.
Newtown will face a Rabbitohs outfit that narrowly defeated the Sea Eagles to begin their campaign before falling to the Dragons last weekend.
The Flegg match is scheduled to start at 10.50am, followed by the NSW Cup fixture at 12.40pm and the blockbuster Sharks-Rabbitohs NRL clash at 3pm.
