Eager to make a difference in the community? Sharks Have Heart are looking for volunteers to collect 50-50 Charity Raffle donations at each Cronulla Sharks NRL home game in 2025.

The concept of the 50-50 Charity Raffle is simple: 50% of the funds raised is donated to a registered charity partner or the Sharks Have Heart Foundation, while the other 50% is awarded to a lucky winner who entered the raffle.

Hard-working sellers wear bright green shirts and caps as they walk around the venue and interact with Members and fans to encourage donations.

With an exciting new NRL season almost upon us, Sharks Have Heart are seeking reliable, positive and helpful individuals over the age of 18 to volunteer their time as part of this year's 50-50 Charity Raffle game-day team.

Cronulla Sharks Community Engagement Manager Luke Koutrodimos said: "Recruiting dedicated and passionate volunteers is part of our DNA at the Sharks. We are seeking 50-50 volunteers this season in addition to our Shark Crew volunteer program to further support the financial viability of not only the Sharks Have Heart Foundation, but local charity organisations.

"If you are someone who enjoys volunteering and has a passion for interacting with others, being a 50-50 game-day volunteer is a fun way to be a part of something special and support worthy causes."

There are many benefits to volunteering. Here are our top five reasons you should consider joining our 50-50 game day volunteer team:

1. Make a difference: Every raffle ticket sold helps support important community initiatives that impact the lives of many.

2. Enjoy free entry: Watch all Sharks NRL home games for free when you volunteer!

3. Boost your skills: Gain confidence, communication skills and sales experience in a fun environment no other organisation can provide.

4. Meet fellow fans: Engage with passionate Sharks supporters at each home game and be part of the unrivalled excitement.

5. Become immersed in the game-day action: Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the energy of live rugby league whilst gaining valuable work experience.
