Wanda Beach was a sight to behold last Friday as a school of young Sharks covered the sand and sea at the club's annual Junior Jaws Footy and Surf Clinic, presented by Westfield Miranda.
Run by the dedicated Sharks Have Heart community team in conjunction with Blake Johnston's Cronulla Surfing Academy, the event was another raging success.
More than 100 keen youngsters, aged 5-12, had a blast engaging in footy drills and games while learning the basics of surfing and water safety.
NRL stars Blayke Brailey, Toby Rudolf, Teig Wilton and Sam Stonestreet lent a hand alongside NRLW players Jada Taylor, Emma Verran and Quincy Dodd.
Sharks Community Engagement Manager Luke Koutrodimos said: "To see Wanda Beach taken over by the Sharks and proud clinic sponsor Westfield Miranda was a great sight. We had over 115 participants, each engaging in school holiday fun. They were able to meet some of their heroes from our NRL and NRLW squads.
"We run regular clinics throughout the year and our Ungah Academy will be starting on February 25 for boys and girls aged 6-12 looking to upskill before the JRL season."
