The Sharks can confirm playmaker Daniel Atkinson will depart at the end of the 2025 season to pursue an opportunity with another NRL club.
Atkinson is fully committed to the Sharks for the upcoming season and will remain an important member of the NRL squad.
"Daniel received a significant offer from another club, one which we unfortunately were unable to compete with," said Darren Mooney, Sharks General Manager of Football.
"In his time at the Sharks Daniel has developed into a quality NRL player, will be an integral member of our squad during the 2025 season and we look forward to him making a substantial contribution to our success this year," Mooney added.
