2025 NRL and NRLW draws released

Cronulla will host 10 unmissable NRL matches at Sharks Stadium in 2025 and stage a marquee home game in Perth after launching the most anticipated season yet under the bright lights of Las Vegas.

The announcement comes with today's release of the full NRL and NRLW draws. On the women's front, an expanded 12-team competition will feature 11 rounds, with the high-flying Sharks to begin their campaign at home against the Eels in July.

Read on for a snapshot of each schedule.

NRL

The Sharks will look to exact revenge on the four-peat Panthers following this year's preliminary final defeat when they meet the premiers in a historic Round 1 clash at Allegiant Stadium in the US on Sunday, March 2 at 3.30pm (AEDT).

From there they'll head to Townsville to tackle the Cowboys. Craig Fitzgibbon's men will play at Sharks Stadium for the first time against the Rabbitohs in Round 3 before welcoming the Bulldogs to the Sutherland Shire the following week.

They will also host arch-rivals the Sea Eagles at Western Australia's state-of-the-art Optus Stadium on April 12 as part of a double-header also featuring Souths and North Queensland. The Round 6 encounter will mark Cronulla's second time at the spectacular venue after defeating the Rabbitohs 26-16 as the away team in 2023.

Standout games at Sharks Stadium include dates with the Storm (Round 11), star recruit Addin Fonua-Blake's former club the Warriors (14), neighbours St George Illawarra (15), the Roosters (20) and the Titans in the second half of Indigenous Round (24), which will be split across two weeks for the first time.

Among the other clashes to circle on the calendar are a Friday night home Magic Round blockbuster against the Eels at Suncorp Stadium (Round 9), an Indigenous Round derby against St George Illawarra at Kogarah (23), an Anzac Round meeting with Wests Tigers (8) and a Gosford trip to face South Sydney (21).

The team will recover with byes in Round 13, 18 and 25.

The Sharks are due to tune up with pre-season trials against the Warriors at Sharks Stadium on February 7 and Raiders at GIO Stadium on February 13.

NRLW

With the admission of the Bulldogs and Warriors to the competition, the NRLW schedule will include an additional two regular-season fixtures in 2025.

After reaching the Grand Final in just their second season, Tony Herman's Sharks will kick off their quest to go one better when they face Parramatta in a standalone match at Sharks Stadium on Thursday, July 3 – one of five matches on home soil.

The girls in the black, white and blue will host two more standalone matches in back-to-back weeks against the Cowboys (Round 3) and Wests Tigers (4). They will host the Titans (Round 7) and Knights (9) in double-headers with the NRL.

Cronulla will suit up against the Broncos in the inaugural NRLW Magic Round at Newcastle's McDonald Jones Stadium in Round 5, locking horns for the first time since holding the star-studded Brisbane side to nil in a stunning semi-final win.

Other matches of significant interest are the Round 10 tussle with a Canterbury side featuring former Sharks Tayla Preston, Holli Wheeler, Andie Robinson and Tegan Dymock, a trip across the ditch to take on the Warriors and a mouth-watering Round 11 Grand Final rematch against the Roosters.
