Zambrero have proudly helped push the Sharks forward for four seasons as our back-of-jersey NRL sponsor. Now, we're calling on our community to return the support by joining their mission to end world hunger on Plate 4 Plate Day – Thursday, October 17.
The 'Feel Good Mex' franchise will bring together volunteers across Australia to pack over 430,000 nutritious meals for people in need around the world with the help of distribution partners Rise Against Hunger, Foodbank and Love Mercy.
Sharks staff will once again take part in the annual event by packing meals in Sydney, however the entire Zam Fam, including valued Sharks Members and partners, are urged to join the 'Feel Good Crew' and make a real difference.
Zambrero's far-reaching Plate 4 Plate initiative has generated more than 82 million meals and counting for people in need, matching the sale of every regular/big burrito or bowl, Kids Zam Box or retail item at their 265-plus restaurants globally.
While now an international staple for their fresh, flavoursome food and community-minded ethos, Zambrero was born out of one man's desire to help eradicate famine.
Dr Sam Prince, one of Australia's most successful entrepreneurs and philanthropists, founded the Mexican restaurant chain as a 21-year-old medical student in Canberra.

If you can't make it to a packing event, simply eating Feel Good Mex on Plate 4 Plate Day will advance the cause, with Zambrero to contribute double the meal donations!
