Jets: Newtown are unchanged following their win over North Sydney Bears last week, with skipper Billy Burns lining up in the second row and grand final player of the match Niwhai Puru at halfback. The Jets have plenty of NRL experience in their squad, including front rower Braden Hamlin-Uele who scored the winning try and rising young gun winger Samuel Stonestreet. Five-eighth Khaled Rajab will be given every chance to prove his fitness and is being monitored by football staff as he rehabs a shoulder injury suffered in the 65th minute of the grand final win.

Devils: Norths have named the same squad that overcame Redcliffe Dolphins in their Hostplus Cup decider a fortnight ago. Duncan Hall Medal winner Tesi Niu starts at centre following his two-try performance at Kayo Stadium. Dolphins contracted forwards Mason Teague and Oryn Keeley will line up in the backrow, with Gold Coast Titans-bound forward and Hostplus Cup prop of the year winner Tukimihia Simpkins set to start.
