NRLW Team List - Round 9 v Wests Tigers

The Sharks are out to return to winning ways and secure their place in the finals when they host the Wests Tigers on Thursday night.

Coach Tony Herman has named a similar side to the one that lost on the final siren against the Broncos last week, with Manilita Takapautolo replacing fellow forward Chloe Saunders on the interchange in the lone change to the playing 17.

Victory will ensure third-placed Cronulla of a finals berth and, if results fall their way, could see them finish in the top two and earn a home match next week.

While still likely to feature in the playoffs even with a loss, the Eels can theoretically bump the Sharks to fifth place by convincingly beating the Roosters.

With their fate in their own hands, Herman and his troops will be determined to dish up a dominant performance and reignite their push for the premiership.

The Tigers sit in last place but are coming off a 16-14 triumph over the Dragons.

Kick-off at PointsBet Stadium is at 7.50pm. CLICK HERE to secure a ticket.

The game will be broadcast live on Nine, Nine Now, Foxtel and Kayo.
