Ramien accepts one-match ban for high tackle

Sharks centre Jesse Ramien will miss Saturday's match against the Warriors at PointsBet Stadium after accepting a one-game ban for a careless high tackle.

Ramien was charged with a Grade 2 offence having been sin-binned for a hit on Mat Feagai in the first half of Sunday's 38-10 win over the Dragons in Wollongong.

The outside back would have risked a two-match suspension if he chose to fight the charge at the judiciary. He will be available for the Round 27 clash with Manly to finish the regular season.
