Jets Team List – Round 25

Following a bye in taking the opportunity to recharge and reset the Newtown Jets will continue their push towards a finals berth when they take on the St George Illawarra Dragons in a round 25 Knock On Effect NSW Cup match in Wollongong on Saturday.

The Jets sit in third position on the NSW Cup ladder, just one point shy of joint leaders the Bears and Raiders, with a win vital should they aspire to finish in the top spot with only two matches left in the regular season.

They face a Dragons side sitting seventh, still a mathematical hope of qualifying for the finals and likely to be desperate in an effort to keep their season alive.

Prior to the bye the Jets continued a strong run of form in beating the ladder-leading Bears 18-8 in the Frank Hyde Shield match at North Sydney Oval, that victory coming after wins against Souths (38-16) and the Eels (30-16) in their most recent encounters.

With players potentially returning for the Sharks NRL squad, the Jets could be strengthened by the inclusion of full time contracted players for the match which gets underway at the Collegians Sporting Complex, Wollongong on Saturday at 1.00pm.

See following the two team lists.
