NRLW Late Mail v Raiders: Fullback switch confirmed

The Sharks have confirmed several tweaks to their line-up for today's NRLW clash with the Raiders at GIO Stadium.

Cassie Staples will move from the wing to fullback, allowing Nakia Davis-Welsh – playing her first game for the Sharks – to take her place on the flank.

Captain Tiana Penitani, who was listed in the No.1 jersey after Jada Taylor's ACL injury, will now start in her favoured centre role. In turn, Rhiannon Byers will shift back to the second row with Vanessa Foliaki reverting to the interchange.

Cronulla will otherwise run out as named on Tuesday. After being included in the reserves, Emma Tonegato won't return from a calf injury this week.

Young prop Leki Leilua remains the 18th player.
