NRLW Medical Update - Jada Taylor

The Sharks can unfortunately confirm fullback Jada Taylor will be sidelined for the remainder of the NRLW season after suffering an ACL injury in last week's win over the Eels.

The 20-year-old will undergo surgery and faces a lengthy recovery.

It's a cruel blow for one of the game's most exciting talents, with Taylor having undergone shoulder and ankle operations at the conclusion of last season.

She produced a game-changing performance prior to her injury on Sunday, putting her body on the line to save a try before crucially scoring herself.

In another setback, the promising Grace-Lee Weekes' season is also over due to a fractured fibula on top of a syndesmosis injury. A development player in 2023, the uncapped Weekes earned a promotion to the NRLW top 24 this year.
