After roaring back into the winner's circle against the Eels last night, the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership Sharks will tackle the Knights on a five-day turnaround this Saturday.

Despite being impacted by injuries, Cronulla posted a 28-16 victory at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence. Debutante halfback Olivia Herman scored the team's opening try, with Seli Mailangi, Jayme Millard, Roisin Crowe and Leki Leilua also crossing.

They now face a stern test against the fourth-placed Knights, who are two competition points ahead. A win would catapult Cronulla back into the finals race.

The Sharks will be without five-eighth Nakia Davis-Welsh, who has been called into the NRLW squad to tackle the Raiders in Canberra on the same day.

Kick-off is at 11.30am at the Newcastle Knights COE on Saturday.
