Jersey Flegg Team List - Round 22

While the rest of the Jersey Flegg teams were resting up on a bye weekend, the Sharks moved closer to a place in the top five and therefore a potential Finals berth with a comprehensive win over the Fiji Silktails last Saturday.

In what was a make up game following a round five washout, the Sharks were ruthless in registering a 50-0 victory over their international rivals, with the win seeing them climb into eighth position on the ladder, just three points behind the fifth placed Sea Eagles.

Halfback Riley Pollard scored a try and kicked seven goals for the Sharks for a personal tally of 18 points in a match where the young Cronulla side were dominant in crossing for nine tries.

This weekend they continue their push for the Finals when they host the South Sydney Rabbitohs in a game to be played at PointsBet Stadium as the curtain-raiser to the NRL clash featuring the same two teams.

The two teams played out a 20-all draw the last time they met back n round six, with the Rabbitohs currently 12th on the Flegg competition table.

The Sharks v Souths Flegg match is scheduled for a 5.20pm kick off on Saturday, with the two teams listed below.
