Sharks girls take centre stage at Westfield Miranda

The Sharks NRLW squad were the centre of attention at Westfield Miranda on Saturday, June 29, drawing a huge crowd for a signing session as hype for their season reached fever pitch.

Hundreds of fans, including an army of junior players, families and Members, patiently lined up for the chance to meet and greet the women's team.

Double-sided posters featuring the official NRLW and NRL team photos were handed out, while a pass-the-ball activation kept kids occupied as they waited.

With the Sharks kicking off their second NRLW campaign against North Queensland at PointsBet Stadium on July 27, there was no shortage of excitement.

"We are extremely grateful for all the support and really enjoyed meeting so many fans and Members at our signing session," captain Tiana Penitani said.

"We can’t wait to get the season started and do everyone proud."

Dummy-half Quincy Dodd added:Β "It's a privilege to be in a position where we can inspire kids and put a smile on faces by giving our time. We really feel the love and can't wait to see everyone at our first home game against the Cowboys!"
