The Sharks are pleased to announce Kiwi star Annessa Biddle has inked a new two-year contract extension to remain at the club until at least 2027.
Biddle, last season's NRLW Dally M Rookie of the Year, has committed to Cronulla long term having already been signed through the end of 2025.
The powerful centre earned her maiden New Zealand cap in October after bursting onto the scene with the Sharks, averaging 170 metres across eight matches.
"I've made a home at the Sharks and I'm delighted to be staying," Biddle said.
"We're building an amazing culture here and it's exciting to be part of it. I'm looking forward to what the future holds and can't wait to get on the field in 2024."
Discovered while playing for the Otara Scorpions in her native Auckland, Biddle is viewed as an integral piece of Cronulla's promising squad.
"Annessa was outstanding last season and, scarily, is only going to get better with more experience," NRLW head coach Tony Herman said.
"Not only is she naturally gifted, but Annessa also works extremely hard and is a pleasure to coach. She will be a pillar of our team for years to come."
Damaging on both sides of the ball, Biddle posted two tries, two assists, seven line-breaks, 26 tackle breaks and a 94% tackle efficiency rate in her debut campaign. She went on to play three games for the Kiwi Ferns at the Pacific Championships.
