Late Mail - Sharks v Eels

The Sharks are as per program for tonight's match against the Eels at CommBank Stadium, with props Toby Rudolf and Braden Hamlin-Uele confirmed to return from injury on the interchange.

Billy Burns, who played for the Jets in the curtain-raising NSW Cup clash with Parramatta earlier this evening, has been omitted from the extended squad.

Utility back Mawene Hiroti remains 18th man as a potential concussion sub.

As was announced on Tuesday, Braydon Trindall will take over from Nicho Hynes at halfback due to the regular No.7 being in NSW State of Origin camp.

With captain Cameron McInnes also on Blues duty, second-rower Teig Wilton will skipper the side for the first time. Jack Williams has been promoted to start at lock.

Winger Sione Katoa will play his 100th NRL game after debuting in 2018.

Kick-off is at 7.50pm. If you're not heading to the game, catch the action live on Nine, Nine Now, Foxtel and Kayo. Sharks at Kareela is the perfect viewing spot!
