Late Mail - Sharks v Storm

In a significant change to the Sharks line up for their top of the table clash against the Storm, halfback Nicho Hynes is a late withdrawal due to calf tightness.

Hynes was given every chance in a bid to take his place in the Sharks team for tonight’s match, however coaching and medical staff were of the belief the risk of further damage was too great. The issue will be assessed further on return to Sydney.

In making positional adjustments to cover for the loss of Hynes, hooker Blayke Brailey has been named at half back, Cam McInnes selected at hooker, with Jack Williams added to the starting line-up.

Tuku Hau Taphua moves into the Sharks 17, with Kade Dykes the 18th man.

The match between the Sharks and Storm, the two teams placed first and second at the start of round 10 kicks, off at 7.30pm at AAMI Park in Melbourne.
