Prop Royce Hunt has earned a recall for the Sharks after being named to replace Toby Rudolf on the bench in Saturday night's top-of-the-table clash with the Storm at AAMI Park.
Rudolf suffered a medial ligament injury in Sunday's win over the Dragons, opening the door for Hunt to take the field in the NRL for the first time since Round 1.
Hunt has impressed over the past three rounds for the Newtown Jets in the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup after recovering from a calf issue.
Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon has otherwise retained the team that beat St George Illawarra as the Sharks shoot for six consecutive victories.
Tuku Hau Tapuha has been named as 18th man. With Hunt moving into the 17, Kade Dykes has been included on the extended interchange.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7.35pm, with coverage on Foxtel and Kayo.
