Jersey Flegg Team List - Round 3

After a promising start in registering a convincing victory over the Warriors in week one, the Jersey Flegg Sharks came back to earth when soundly beaten by the Bulldogs in round two.

Errors and ill discipline marred the Sharks performance last Saturday, the Bulldogs capitalising on the opportunities presented to them, with the Canterbury side building on a 10-0 half time lead before running out 34-8 victors.

If there was a positive for the Sharks, it was the fact that they defended their line strongly in the opening half as a result of gifting their opposition a dominant share of possession, however the Bulldogs would eventually prove too strong in the second period.

Sharks tries were scored by young centre Siteni Taukamo and winger Kristian Dixon.

This week the Flegg Sharks are again away from home when they play the Wests Tigers on Sunday.

The Wests Tigers have also registered one win and one loss from their two matches so far this season, their most recent result being a 36-0 defeat at the hands of the Canberra Raiders.

The Sharks v Wests Tigers match is scheduled for a 12noon kickoff at Lidcombe Oval on Sunday.
