Sharks to mark festive season with Adult Disability Christmas Clinic

Embracing the festive spirit, the Sharks will host a Mega Jaws Adult Disability Christmas Clinic at PointsBet Stadium on Wednesday, December 6, featuring appearances from NRL and NRLW players.

Guided by NRLW star Emma Tonegato, who doubles as the Sharks Have Heart Equal Access Program Lead, the free clinic will give participants an unforgettable experience in learning new skills and meeting some of their idols.

The event is all about inclusivity and will have two components, with a rugby league session including fun games and drills followed by a Mermaid cheerleading clinic.

Open to anyone with a disability aged 16 and over, the Mega Jaws Adult Disability Christmas Clinic promises to be a magical afternoon for all involved.

"At the Sharks, we're committed to making rugby league accessible to everyone, with these clinics being an awesome way to connect with the community," Tonegato said.

"We've seen at past clinics that it's such a thrill for our participants to experience the excitement of being on the field at PointsBet Stadium while interacting with NRL and NRLW players, as well as the amazing Mermaids cheerleaders.

"With the focus being on equal access, all participants can share in the fun. I'm looking forward to getting in the festive spirit with everyone on December 6."
