NRLW Team List - Sharks v Knights

In delivering their best attacking performance of the 2023 season, the NRLW Sharks showed what they are capable of in recording an impressive 40-12 victory over the Cowboys last weekend.

The Sharks scored seven tries to two for their second win in their inaugural season in the NRLW competition, however they now go from the heat of Townsville into a game in the hostile environment of Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium for a round six clash with the Knights on Sunday.

Sharks coach Tony Herman has retained the team which was successful in North Queensland, a game that saw young fullback Jada Taylor return after missing three matches with an ankle injury.

While the Sharks will be buoyed by their win in Townsville, their opponents are playing with a level of confidence, a narrow victory over the Brocos last week their third win succession to have the Knights sitting second on the NRLW ladder.

The Sharks v Knights NRLW clash is the second of three games to be played at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday, kicking off at 1.45pm, with the Newtown Jets playing Newcastle in the NSW Cup as the first game, to be followed by the NRLW, before a round 26 NRL match between the Sharks and Knights at 4.00pm.
