2024 Sharks Junior Rep trials

A club priding itself on its development and pathways program, the Sharks are accepting applications from players interested in trialling for the Matthews Cup and SG Ball squads ahead of the 2024 Junior Representative season.

Following a 2023 junior representative season which saw the Matthews Cup team qualify for the under-17’s Finals and a number of players from the under-19 SG Ball squad progress to represent the Club’s Jersey Flegg team, the Sharks look to continue their success in the junior rep competitions in 2024.  

The trials will be by application only, with submitting a nomination form not guaranteeing participation and players to be notified once selected to take part.

Further information regarding times, venue, trial format and what to bring on the day, will be provided to successful applicants. All information will be sent via email, with potential trialists encouraged to ensure email addresses and contact details are correct on the application form.

The trial dates, which are subject to change, will be held on Thursday, September 14 for the Harold Matthews (U17s) and Saturday, September 16 for the SG Ball (U19s) trial.

Harold Matthews Cup applications close on Thursday, September 7, and Friday, September 8 for SG Ball.
