NRLW Sharks in Sunday blockbuster – Members free

The boys got the job done on Friday night in scoring a big win over the Titans in their NRL clash, now it’s over to the girls who tackle the Roosters in an NRLW blockbuster at PointsBet Stadium on Sunday.

After a narrow loss to the Gold Coast last weekend the Sharks have plenty to prove against one of the competition heavyweights in the Roosters in a game kicking off at 12noon.

While in a special offer to encourage all fans to support the girls tomorrow afternoon, there is FREE entry at the gate for kids, entry for Sharks Members is also free, so too anyone who attended the Friday night NRL match, with their ticket giving free access to Sunday’s game.

Tickets for non-members are just $10.

And for those who get down to PointsBet on Sunday the game promises to be an exciting contest, with the Sharks to be led by Dally M winner Emma Tonegato who shifts from the halves back to fullback in the absence of youngster Jada Taylor who was taken out of the team when teams were trimmed to 19 in the 24 hours before the game.

Tonegato will now come up against former Sharks, Jillaroos and NSW Origin rep Corbin Baxter who will wear the number one jersey for the Roosters.

The experienced Maddie Studdon comes into the Sharks line up at five eighth.

The Sharks will be looking for Tonegato's speed and exciting running game to complement their other backline stars including Emma Tonegato, Tiana Penitani and newcomer Annessa Biddle.

In the forwards for the Sharks, Holli Wheeler is back for her second game in what was her first appearance after recovering from a knee injury, Ellie Johnston has been outstanding up front, with aggressive prop Harata Butler to go head to head with a Roosters pack which includes the 2022 joint Dally M winner Millie Boyle.

Preparations are complete, the Sharks woman are ready to go, with Sunday’s game not to be missed.
