Ahead of their official season launch tomorrow and with the Sharks to kick off their inaugural season in the NRLW competition in less than two weeks, comes the announcement that Menai Sand and Soil, another respected and locally based business will be partnering up with the Sharks women in 2023.
An Australian family business that has been supplying Sydney and the Sutherland Shire with a range of landscaping and building material products for over four decades, the Menai Sand and Soil branding will appear on the front of the Sharks shorts in completing the NRLW apparel sponsorships for the season ahead.
Following an impressive trial hit out on Saturday and with the NRLW kick off just a month away, Menai Sand and Soil Director Phill Russo was excited about the partnership with the Sharks and to being a part of an historic season for the Cronulla club.
“We are so proud to be partnering with the Sharks for the NRLW 2023 season. It is an honour to be able to support the team on the field, and in every match,” Russo said.
In announcing the partnership, Sharks CEO Dino Mezzatesta was also looking forward to round one on July 23, then to the season to follow, while welcoming the association with a respected local brand.
“Our team is working hard at training in preparation for the upcoming season, with a sponsorship such as this apparel partnership with Menai Sand and Soil another significant boost ahead of their round one match against the Raiders,” Mezzatesta began.
“To have support from all the corporate partners, including this latest one with Menai Sand and Soil, shows the team that businesses and brands, both international and locally based, are right behind our women in their first NRLW season.”
Established in 1983 on New Illawarra Road, Lucas Heights, as a local landscaping and building materials supplier for the Sutherland Shire and the St George area, since 2016 their range of landscaping and building material products has increased and diversified, with the business undergoing immense growth and continual expansion.
As of today, they have the capabilities to supply products to a vast amount of trade and retail customers in Sydney and throughout the Greater Sydney region.
