Taco Team List Tuesday - Sharks v Warriors

After bouncing back to form with a big win in the local derby, the Sharks return home this Sunday to tackle a Warriors team which has been impressive over the opening month of the competition.

Led by a starring performance from half back Nicho Hynes, the Sharks ran away with the game in the second half against the Dragons, however they are unlikely to have it all their own way against a Warriors team to have won three of their first four matches this season.

And while Hynes was outstanding, across in Auckland on Sunday, so too was his opposite from the Warriors, with the former Porter-Gallen Medallist at the Sharks in Shaun Johnson leading the way in his team’s narrow win over the Bulldogs.

In Sharks team news, Braydon Trindall has been named on the interchange bench in jersey 17 after missing the game against the Dragons with an ankle issue, while 2023 recruit Oregon Kaufusi will miss the game after failing his Head Injury Assessment at half time of the Dragons match. Kaufusi clashed heads with St George Illawarra prop Blake Lawrie shortly after entering the game midway through the first half.

Following three weeks on the road the Sharks are back at PointsBet Stadium for Sunday’s game, which is scheduled for a 4.00pm kick off on Sunday.
