HNWP & Tarsha Gale Team Lists – Round 9
There is no room for error for the HNWP Sharks should they hope to qualify for the four-team Finals series, with a win over the Illawarra Steelers in their match this weekend crucial to their chances with three rounds of the season remaining.
The HNWP Sharks kept themselves in the hunt for a place in the Finals with a big win over the St George Dragons last weekend, with a similar performance needed against a Steelers team sitting fourth on the ladder, two places and four competition points ahead of the Cronulla girls.
The HNWP game is scheduled for a Monday night kick off at the Collegians Sporting Complex in Figtree, Wollongong.
In the Tarsha Gale, any hope of a finals appearance was blown away by a rampant Bulldogs outfit, with the young Cronulla team looking to finish their season with a positive result when they play Illawarra this week.
The Tarsha Gale match will be the first of three, with two men’s junior rep fixtures to follow, at the Sharks Academy Fields at Cronulla High School on Saturday.
