HNWP & Tarsha Gale Team Lists – Round 7

Two wins in succession, from both the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership and Tarsha Gale teams, has the two Sharks women’s outfits well and truly in the hunt for a place in their respective competition Finals with three matches in the season remaining.

The HNWP Sharks scored a comprehensive last start win over the Wentworthville Magpies in their most complete performance of 2023, following on from a round five triumph against Souths, while the under-19 Sharks were equally impressive in recording a gutsy come-from-behind victory over the Eels in backing up a win over Souths the previous week.

Now in sixth position on the ladder, the Finals fate of the HNWP Sharks goes on the line this weekend when they tackle the third-placed Mounties in a match to be played on Monday night at the NSWRL Centre Of Excellence.

In the Tarsha Gale, the Sharks are eighth on for-and-against but level on seven competition points with five teams who sit equal fourth, one of those sides being their opponents this week in the Raiders.

As in the HNWP, a win from the Tarsha Sharks will push them into a strong position to qualify for the top five, however loss could see their Finals hopes dashed. The Tarsha Gale match will be played in Belconnen in Canberra on Saturday.
