For the first time participants will have the opportunity to mix beach footy fun, and a little bit of surfing, at the upcoming January Sharks holiday clinic.
The Sharks are teaming up with the Cronulla Surfing Academy, with those taking part to not only enjoy rugby league skills, drills and activities, but to also learn the basics of surfing and ocean safety at the Junior Jaws Beach School Holiday scheduled for January 18 at North Cronulla Beach.
Open to boys and girls aged from 4 to 12, the beach clinic will run from 9am-12pm, with approximately 90 minutes of beach footy fun, as well as 90 minutes of surfing lessons and water safety activities.
Spots are limited, with those interested encouraged to register quickly to secure a place.
The cost for the Junior Jaws Beach School Holiday is $75 per person, with all participants to receive a NRL player issue training shirt and show bag.
The price accounts for smaller ratios of the participant to instructor/coach numbers required, given the proximity to the water.
Pending their training schedule, stars from our NRL Sharks squad will be on hand to join in the fun.
The beach and surfing clinic is made possible thanks to the Sharks partnership with the Cronulla Surfing Academy.
Locally owned and operated by Cronulla’s Blake & Lauren Johnston, the Cronulla Surfing Academy has been providing high-quality surfing lessons and ocean safety education, to both young and old, for many years.

For those who prefer to stay out of the sand, the popular Mini Mermaids dance clinics will also be returning during the January school holidays.
Led by members of our senior Sharks Mermaids, participants will have the opportunity to learn some of the dance moves made famous by our cheer squad on game day.
The price for the Beach Mini Mermaids School Holiday clinic, to also be held on January 18, is $65 per participant and includes a special mini mermaids t-shirt and showbag. Details as to the local location of the Mini Mermaids clinic will be made available upon registration.
