Late Mail - Sharks v Knights

The Sharks have reported no late team changes for their final game of the regular season against the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.

As announced during the week, the lone alteration to the 17-man side as named on Tuesday, sees Luke Metcalf come into the squad, with Braydon Trindall dropping out after suffering appendicitis early in the week.

Metcalf will start the game from the interchange bench.

The Sharks have resisted the urge to rush Dale Finucane back into the team for today's match as he continues to recover from a rib cartilage issue, with Cameron McInnes to play at lock in the number 13 jersey.

Youngster Jesse Colquhoun and outside back Mawene Hiroti come out of the Sharks 19 as named last night.

The match against the Knights presents the Sharks with an opportunity to lock down a top two finish to the season and a home game in week one of the Finals Series.

The Sharks v Knights clash is scheduled for a 2.00pm kick-off at McDonald Jones Stadium, with the two 17-man teams and concussion substitutions listed below.
