Dale Finucane was found guilty of dangerous contact at tonight’s judiciary hearing and following a successful appeal against the severity of the grading, has been suspended for two matches.
Finucane made the decision to challenge the grade three charge, however the judiciary panel returned a guilty verdict, resulting in a three-match ban.
That original suspension however was subsequently reduced to two games with the downgrade to guilty of dangerous contact grade two.
He will now miss the Sharks upcoming matches against Souths and the Dragons.
The incident in question occurred in the 72nd minute of the game against the Panthers when Finucane and Stephen Crichton were engaged in an accidental head clash.
