Sharks spend morning on Gweagal Land
The NRL playing group, coaching, football and Sharks at Kareela staff spent the morning on Gweagal Land at Kurnell with Local Elder Aunty Deanna at a cultural immersion event, listening and learning about first contact from an Aboriginal Perspective as we progress on our journey towards reconciliation. Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
