The Sharks will aim for a third consecutive win when they host the Newcastle Knights in a round four match on Friday night.
While the Sharks were impressive in beating the Dragons at WIN Stadium in Wollongong, the Knights were somewhat unlucky in going down to the Panthers after playing around two-thirds of their match with 12-men, that loss following on from two wins to start their 2022 season.
It sets up an intriguing battle on Friday at PointsBet Stadium with Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon forced to make a couple of team changes as a result of injuries suffered last Thursday night.
Centre Connor Tracey and winger Matt Ikuvalu have both been ruled out of the Knights match, Tracey with a groin problem, Ikuvalu an ankle injury.
In shuffling his line up, Fitzgibbon has elected to shift powerhouse backrower Siosifa Talakai into the centres, with Ronaldo Mulitalo returning on the wing.
Mulitalo missed the Dragons victory due to concussion protocols however has been cleared to take his place in the Sharks side this weekend.
Teig Wilton, following two impressive outings to start the season, is also back in the Sharks starting side after serving a one-match suspension.
