Jersey Flegg Team List – Round 2

There were enough good moments in the Sharks first round win over Canberra to be positive about their prospects of making an impression in the 2022 Jersey Flegg competition, with the Cronulla side getting another chance to show their wares when they play the Parramatta Eels on Saturday.

Originally scheduled for Sunday, the match has been switched to Saturday to accommodate a NSW Cup change, with the game to kick off at 3.15pm and be played as the curtain-raiser to the Sharks v Eels NRL clash.

The Sharks scored seven tries in their first outing, a 42-24 victory in round one, while the Eels went down by 30-22 to the Dragons in their opening round match.

Again included in the Sharks side are the likes of Kade Dykes, Ryan Rivett and Jack Martin, with that trio development list players and training with the fulltime NRL squad, while Sam Stonestreet has been listed to return to the Flegg team after playing for the Newtown Jets last weekend.
