Junior Rep Team Lists – Round 5

While the intensity is high when the Sharks and Dragons meet in the NRL arena, so to when the junior rep teams come together as is the case in round five of the respective competitions this weekend.

After a bye, the Matthews Cup Sharks play St George, as do their SG Ball counterparts who come into the game following a last start win over Victoria, with the two games certain to be keenly contested.

The games are scheduled to be played on Saturday at the Sharks Academy Fields at Cronulla High School, with the under-17 Matthews Cup clash at 10am, the SG Ball to follow at 12 noon.

The Matthews Cup Sharks have recorded two wins from two starts, but have now had two weeks off, with a round three bye and a round four washout halting their progress somewhat.

As for the SG Ball team, the Sharks did enough to claim their first victory of the season with a win over the Victorian Thunderbirds on Sunday and will be looking to back up that performance when they host the Dragons.
