A limited-edition Charity Jersey, featuring the names of those who supported and purchased the unique design, was an exciting initiative launched by Sharks Have Heart in 2021.
The Sharks played in the Charity Jersey in their round 22 game against the Knights, receiving positive reviews for the design and concept, with the proceeds of sales supporting Sharks Have Heart and the outstanding work they do in the community.
Well, in 2022 it is on again, with the second Sharks Charity Jersey to be produced, and worn by the NRL team at a game during the season, and the Sharks are looking for members and fans to offer their opinions as to the best design.
Next year 300 of the limited-edition jerseys will be produced, again for pre-purchase only, with the names of those who buy to be included in the design. As was the case for the 2021 Charity Jersey, no additional jerseys will be made available for retail sale.
The jersey cost will be $260, with the game in which the Sharks play in the Charity Jersey yet to be confirmed.
By voting below for your favourite design, you will gain early access to purchase the jersey before it is then launched to the wider public.
Production will begin once sales have been completed and names included in the design, with jerseys then expected to be received in 8-12 weeks, planned to be well in advance of when the Sharks will play in the specially designed jersey.
All funds raised will go towards Sharks Have Heart community programs and initiatives, across their three pillars of Inclusivity & Diversity, Social Impact and Have Heart.
The Charity Jersey was a new initiative in 2021, launched in line with an exciting rebranding of Sharks Have Heart, which included a new look and modernized logo, refreshed with the aim of better aligning the Sharks community arm with the two licensed facilities and the club’s football operations.
And next year in a subtle difference to the design, Aramex will share the front branding with Sharks Have Heart, with the Sharks major partner proudly supporting the Charity Jersey concept.
“Sharks Have Heart do outstanding work in the community and their Charity Jersey is a great initiative,” said Peter Lipinski, Aramex CEO, Oceania Region. “Aramex is proud of its support of Sharks Have Heart, on this occasion in relation to the Charity Jersey and we hope that the funds raised allow them to continue to engage with and assist so many individuals and community organisations.”
So which of the three jersey designs do you like best? Sharks Have Heart will take on board your opinions before putting the 2022 Charity Jersey into production.
