Jersey Flegg Team List – Sharks v Dragons

After a weekend off the Jersey Flegg competition is back in action this weekend, with the Sharks to play the Dragons on Friday night in a curtain-raiser to the NRL match featuring the same two teams.

The Sharks come into the round 11 Flegg match on the back of a last start draw with the competition leading Panthers, the one point seeing them move into fourth spot, however they face a St George outfit which sits one place higher on the ladder.

The two teams have met once already this year, back in round one, where in a hard-fought defensive battle the Dragons came out on top by 10-4.

With the COVID disruptions to the lower grade competitions over the past two weekends a number of Sharks squad members turned out for Newtown, the likes of winger Thomas Rodwell, halfback Angus Ernst, prop Jesse Colquhoun and team Captain Jack Boyling playing for the Jets last weekend.

The four young Sharks are back on deck for the Flegg team for this Friday’s contest.
