The Sharks are inviting interested players to apply to trial for the upcoming Winter Academy, with squads to be assembled in the 14’s, 15’s, 16’s and 18’s age groups.
The Sharks Winter Academy program is only open to players registered and playing with local Cronulla-Sutherland District junior league clubs.
The trials will be held at the Academy Fields at Cronulla High School on Monday, May 31, with more detail and times available on the application forms.
Players will be informed if they have been accepted to trial and if so are to come ready to train at the date and times specified.
They will also be informed as to what to bring, but will need boots, mouthguards, suitable training attire, drink bottle and a signed waiver form (link below). Waiver forms will also be available at the ground however it is encouraged that the form is brought to the session signed and filled out.
The Winter Academy continues the Sharks efforts to identify talented local youngsters to play for the Club in the 2022 Junior reps season and beyond.
The Sharks are also excepting expressions of interest for Academy staff positions, including but not restricted to coaches, sports trainers and strength and conditioning personnel, physiotherapists and team managers.
