The Sharks are excited to reveal Southern Comfort, another iconic, international brand as a major partner for the next two years, adding to the recent announcements of Aramex Australia and Zambrero, in another positive boost ahead of their start to the 2021 season on Sunday.
In announcing the Sharks new partner, CEO Dino Mezzatesta was hoping members and fans could celebrate the wins this year, responsibly of course, with a few ice-cold Southern Comfort’s.
“To have another international brand, one as well-known as Southern Comfort, put their faith into the Sharks is a tremendous boost heading into our season-opening game this weekend,” Mezzatesta said.
“Too easy! is the Southern Comfort catch phrase and we hope to be raising a glass and saying those very words after plenty of victories this season.
“We are thrilled to have them on board, and I have no doubt this will be a successful partnership for both the Sharks and for Southern Comfort,” he added.
Southern Comfort is unique, tasty and truly original, like ‘Bourbon in a Party Shirt’. Created in New Orleans back in 1874 as an easy way into Bourbon, Southern Comfort is loved around the world for its smooth-drinking taste.
Best enjoyed with mates and what better excuse to gather for a few drinks with friends than watching a game of rugby league, with Southern Comfort excited to partner with the Sharks for a great 2021 season and beyond.
On the bottom back of the NRL playing strip, Southern Comfort join Zambrero who are top back, Aramex front of jersey, TFH on the sleeve and Dynasty Sport as apparel suppliers, as the Sharks major jersey partners in 2021.
The Sharks start their campaign against the St George Illawarra on Sunday, with the Southern Comfort branding proudly displayed on the jersey.
And as Sharks legends Paul Gallen and Luke Lewis expressed in their video to launch the Sharsk-Southern Comfort partnership, “Cheers to hoping they make the season look TOO EASY!”
