The Sharks join the St George Illawarra Dragons in expressing their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Stevenson 'Stevie' Upulasi who passed away earlier this week.
A former Endeavour High School student, Upulasi represented the Sharks in the Matthews Cup and SG Ball competitions in 2017-2018 before joining the Dragons in 2019.
He was a part of the Dragons' Under-20s squad ahead of the 2020 season after spending the year prior with St George's SG Ball Under-18s team.
Stevenson was also a popular member of junior teams at the Gymea Junior League club and was this year set to play for the Aquinas Colts in the local NSWRL Junior League competitions.
As reported, Stevenson was killed in an accident on the Heathcote Road earlier this week.
The Dragons and Sharks will observe a moment's silence before Saturday's local derby at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
The Sharks send their sincere condolences to the friends and family of Stevie at this time.
