The Cronulla Sharks are excited to announce the return of the Sharks 67 Crew Academy, set to commence in Mid-February 2020.
The Sharks 67 Crew Academy is a season-long program led by the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids choreographer/director Jacqueline-Lee Elliott, a dance industry professional who has an impressive resume and extensive experience.
As well as working with dance squads for sports teams in the US, with her choreography being performed in the NBA and across other sporting organisations in America, Elliott also produces the Illawarra Hawks game days along with choreography for the teams’ dancers.
The 67 Crew Academy program is designed to produce the next generation of professional dancers by learning from an established industry professional.
This is an exclusive opportunity to take part in game day activities including side line performances, in addition to the six dedicated on-field performances scheduled throughout the season during Sharks NRL games.
The 67 Crew Academy program will commence on the Thursday, February 20, running from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. It has been scheduled to start 4-weeks prior to the NRL season and includes regular training sessions throughout 2020, in giving participants an opportunity to focus on skill and technique development, ensuring the 67 Crew is confident and ready to perform on game days.
The remaining sessions will align with the NRL game days as selected throughout the 2020 season, with the nominated gameday weeks to include an additional session for participants to learn new routines.

All game days will take part at Netstrata Jubilee (Kogarah), training sessions venue TBC (Taren Point or Kogarah)

*The GA Season Membership will allow each participant to bring a guest to each game day as participants will use their NRL accreditation for entry.
