Late Mail - Sharks v Warriors

Sharks winger Aaron Gray, after being one of his team's best in their loss to the Storm last week, has returned home early from New Zealand and will miss the match against the Warriors at Westpac Stadium later tonight.

Gray succumbed to a nagging knee problem and was due to see a specialist in Sydney to have the issue assessed.

In his place comes promising youngster Ronaldo Mulitalo, with the recent Queensland under-20's rep to take Gray's place on the left wing.

Mulitalo has played just one NRL game, that coming when he replaced Josh Dugan following the pre match warm up in Brisbane.

In other Sharks team news, Shaun Johnson has been passed fit to play after battling an ankle problem throughout the week, while Paul Gallen and Matt Moylan both return after missing the Storm match with hamstring injuries.

Billy Magnolias and Will Kennedy drop off the 19-man squad which had been trimmed down from the originally-named 21.

In Warrior team news, Ken Maumalo was withdrawn last night, while his wing partner David Fusitua is also unlikely to take part in the game, replaced by former Shark Blayke Ayshford and debutant Adam Pompey.

The Sharks v Warriors match is scheduled for an 8.00pm kick off (NZ time) at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
