The Sharks received a wakeup call with a last-gasp victory over a committed Warriors outfit last weekend to remain on top of the Jersey Flegg ladder.
An opportunistic try to backrower Tom Caughlan got the Sharks home in the end, however coach Daniel Holdsworth will be looking for some improvement from his team when they host the Eels in a match which will be the curtain-raiser to the Cronulla v Parramatta NRL clash at Saturday night.
The young Sharks have enjoyed a strong start to their 2019 season, with eight wins from nine matches, however despite their lowly position in the ladder, the Eels are set to present a considerable challenge.
Sharks coach Daniel Holdsworth has been able to name a settled team line up, with no significant changes from the team which beat the Warriors at their last start.
