Already when the two long-time rivals meet the stakes are high, but with the two teams coming off disappointing last start losses the intensity is set to go to another level when the Sharks travel to WIN Stadium in Wollongong to tackle the Dragons in a local derby clash on Sunday.

The Sharks were outplayed in a 24-14 loss to the Sea Eagles, while the Dragons suffered a 45-10 thumping at the hands of the Newcastle Knights, leaving both clubs outside the top eight and desperate for the competition points on offer.

While the positive to come from the Sharks game on Sunday was the fact there were no further injuries reported, of the long list of injured stars, only Matt Moylan has been named in the 21-man squad.

Moylan, selected in jersey 21, has been missing since suffering a hamstring strain in round three. He is hopeful of being fit to play on Sunday and will be assessed during the week.

Otherwise the Sharks team remains the same as the one which took to the field last weekend.

The Sharks v Dragons local derby match, which will be played for the Monty Porter Foundation Cup, is scheduled for a 4.05pm kick-off at WIN Stadium on Sunday.
